About us

Welcome! You've found the online store for Illustrated Children's Ministry, LLC. We're glad you've found us and we hope you'll take some time to look around and check out all that we have to offer.

After working in youth ministry for over fifteen years, pastor and artist Adam Walker Cleaveland launched Illustrated Children’s Ministry, LLC in September 2015, and it has been growing ever since. We started off with an empty mailing list, and it has grown to include over 13,000 people. We have customers from all over the world, including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, China, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Spain and Greenland.

It’s quickly become clear that this was a much-needed resource not only in the area of children’s ministry, but in a variety of other ministry settings and for people to use at home. Illustrated Children’s Ministry, LLC also quickly went from being a solopreneur venture to a fully-fledged team of fun and creative people.

We want to provide effective and creative resources, so please be in touch if there is something you’d love to see us create for you and your churches and families. You can email us here.

Jill Vint – Operations Guru

Jill Vint

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom six years ago, Jill worked as a special education teacher in the Chicago Public Schools and the Greenwich Council District in Southeast London. While working from home in that capacity, she also served on her children’s preschool board of directors for three years, including in the role of president in her third year. She is involved with the Gift of Adoption Fund—a cause near and dear to her heart—serving on the national board for three years and the investment board for the last two years. When she is not chasing after her two children, Jill enjoys traveling with her family, training for triathlons, and knitting.

Alissa has worked in ministry for fifteen years, serving in churches across California. She earned her Masters in Christian Education from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Currently based in Fresno, Ca, when she's not writing curriculum for Illustrated Children’s Ministry, she's immortalizing moments and seasons in others' journeys through photography. What brings her life? Live music, spicy Thai food, travel, and creating beauty and depth no matter the medium, especially if it elicits one uncovering their place in God’s ecology.

Makeesha is a freelance social media manager and graphic artist, and is much better at writing other people's bios. She grew up in church ministry in the US, and has worked with children, youth, college and career, and arts ministries in a variety of contexts. While she herself still often feels like a teenager, she is actually old enough to have a teenage daughter (*gasp) and a pre-teen daughter (who is basically a 30-year-old trapped in a kid body). She lives in Vancouver, BC Canada with her husband David, the family dog Millie, and their cat Vixen. She is a gamer nerd, lover of comic books, knitting, and reading, and tries to stay active with martial arts, swimming, and as much dancing as she can fit into her life.
